Epsom salts aren’t just for athletes. You’ll love their pamper qualities, so get ready for some serious enjoyment from this versatile mineral combo
Exfoliation with Epsom salts is cheap and easy. Dampen a small handful of crystals in your hand and massage gently into your skin. You get the same softening of your skin as with an Epsom salts bath with the added exfoliation job done.
If you want to do a deep cleanse mix half a teaspoon of Epsom Salts into your cleansing lotion and massage facial skin gently and then rinse and pat dry.
If Epsom Salts softens facial skin, imagine how good it is for feet. After you’ve removed any polish, cut and filed your toenails, soak your feet in a warm, fully diluted Epsom salts pan or wide bowl for 10 minutes or more. Scrub with a pumice stone afterwards and rinse. Finally moisturise your feet with your favourite body lotion or foot balm. An alternative method for rough, callused and cracked feet is to use this recipe as a foot scrub:

Mix 1 cup of Epsom Salts to a quarter cup olive or almond oil. Add 1 teaspoon of liquid castile soap (available in health stores) and 10-15 drops of any essential oil of your choice. Store this mixture in an airtight jar and use a teaspoon at a time on your feet using a face cloth, loofah or natural sponge, then rinse and dry.
Need more hair volume? Epsom Salt can help fluff up and texturise. Mix equal parts Epsom Salts with a natural conditioner and massage into your hair. Leave for up to 20 minutes. Rinse well and dry.
